| "My family enjoys Sundown for many reasons. 1) Cheaper than (another resort). 2) We love the free timed course. 3) Free ski corral; had skis stolen back in 80's. 4) Food is better. 5) Skiwee has taught all 3 of my kids to ski. 6) I think the snow may be better. 7) We love how we can turn sundown slopes into a mile long run by carving back and forth through trails. | "Dear Snowman- I love sundown even though I do not get to go as often as I would like cuz I go to school in Illinois. My boyfriend went several times this past season and introduced Sundown to many of his friends. They were able to capture some sweet snow footage. Now we show the video to friends of ours to show them the fun times getting down in the snow. My friends have been talking about this snow season since the start of August so they are really going to be thrilled about your new big offer! Although I like all aspects of sundown, my favorite, of course, is the SNOW! The atmosphere is as if you are not even in the Midwest. The slopes are well kept and one can tell the staff works hard to please us snow bunnies. My boarding friends have fun playing at the park. Finally, I also enjoy that you send letters to keep me posted on upcoming events and, of course, the deals. I will be looking forward to relieving some stress this winter and floating down the snow. | "I have been a part of a large group to visit Sundown for the past 3 years during a long weekend in February. Since I have only been on skis at Sundown, I cannot compare the mountain to other mountains. Our groups have thoroughly enjoyed our skiing experiences. Many of our group members have learned to ski at Sundown. The instructors are excellent! The lodge personnel are very friendly! We love our visits more with each passing year." | |

Hats off to the snowmaking eam, the grooming team and the entire staff at Sundown - last year for me was the first year back in a long time and I came back to conditions that were great + add to that an unbelievable experience coaching the Sundown Junior Race Team = I had a blast last year and I hope it's ll the better this coming season! We are going to try to get out to Silver Mountain this year! Freinds of ours have been there and they echoed what I've heard - great skiing conditions, short lift lines, amazing views, great variety of trails, and overall and OUTSTANDING VALUE - Two season passes for the price of one! | "I have skied at Sundown several times and everytime it was a blast. The snow is always greater, even with the unpredictable Iowa winters. The snow is also always groomed very well. My favorite thing to do at Sundown is to go in the Terrain Park. They have everything there, rails for both beginners and experienced riders, huge ramps and an outstanding half-pipe. The Terrain Park is one of the best that I have ever been in. If the jumps and rails are not what you are in to, there are many different trails for different skill levels and also a free time trial. If you ever need a break there is a nice lodge to warm up and relax with a nice view looking over the slopes. Sundown has great skiing for all ages and skill levels. I am looking forward for the snow to fall again." | |
