The family that skis together has
fun and thoroughly enjoys winter.
Sundown recognizes that skiing can be
a financially breathtaking experience for a
family. That is why we offer special times and programs for families.
Sundown
Mountain will have $10 lift tickets through December 14th, $20 through December 16th, and $30 through December 23rd,and
after that Just $37 for Adult Weekend Lift Tickets until
the Season's Close.
The Sunday Special is a great program for families when night lift rates begin at 2 p.m.
Also, families of 3 receive a Lift Pass and ski/board rental for $35 each. Families of 4 or more receive the same, plus a large pizza and fountain soda.

A second way to save is our Kid's
Club. 4th, 5th, and 6th graders who can stop and
turn may buy a season Kid's Club membership for $18. This entitles
them to buy a
lift ticket and rental after 2 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays.

Sundown has 21 trails and two progressive terrain parks and a competition half-pipe.
There are beginner trails, intermediate trails and expert trails.
All lifts serve beginner
runs so that your family can ski the same chairlift and keep in
touch. Click on the

One of the favorite trails for families with children is Free Time, a timed race course with brush gates. It is exciting and children gain confidence each time down wihile learning to turn at each safety gate.
Children, ages 4 - 11, can be enrolled in SKIwee, now known as Kids Park, from 10 a.m. until noon and 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. where instructors will coach their ski or snowboard skills.
Family Weekend will be January 5 & 6 this season. Check our web site for specials that weekend. 
In June 2007, historic Dubuque was designated as one of only ten ALL AMERICAN CITYs. Dubuque was also recently named by USA Today as one of the TOP TEN MIDWEST TOURIST ATTRACTIONS. A year ago USA Today selected Dubuque as one of the top 10 places to discover in the Midwest. It is known for its charm, entertainment, activities and events. The city has over 1,800 overnight accommodations to choose from. There
are many indoor pools, hot tubs, and saunas. The city
has a wide variety of restaurants, entertainment, and other activities
to enjoy after
a day of skiing.
