Thank you for attending our annual open house and ski/snowboard swap.  We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.  Hopefully the weather will be just as co-operative for the ski/snowboard season. We are gearing up for a great one and hope you are too.

SUNDOWN MOUNTAIN is BIG, BEAUTIFUL and EXCITING. Countless skiers and riders return year after year to enjoy our slopes. Over six years we were the only Midwest resort granted the NSAA Award of Excellence. Our highest lift has greater top to bottom vertical than all reorts in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota south of Duluth and all but two in Wisconsin. Two mountain top lodges overlook 100 square miles, 21 scenic trails and two remarkable terrain parks carved out of a century old cedar forest reminiscent of Colorado.

Sundown also has a FREE ski corral, FREE timed racing, LIVE MUSIC Saturdays, frequent mouth watering barbeques and Midwest hospitality. Recently USA Today selected Dubuque as one of the top 10 tourist attractions in the Midwest. These attractions, activities and events plus over 1700 overnight accommodations are just 5 to 9 miles away.
