Current weather conditions have not allowed us to make snow.  Sundown will NOT be opening Thanksgiving weekend. Tentative opening day is December 4, 2009 WEATHER PERMITTING.

SUNDOWN MOUNTAIN is BIG, BEAUTIFUL and EXCITING. Countless skiers and riders return year after year to enjoy our slopes. Over six years we were the only Midwest resort granted the NSAA Award of Excellence. Our highest lift has greater top to bottom vertical than all reorts in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota south of Duluth and all but two in Wisconsin. Two mountain top lodges overlook 100 square miles, 21 scenic trails and two remarkable terrain parks carved out of a century old cedar forest reminiscent of Colorado.
