Sundown Mountain has closed for the season. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your skiing and snowboarding experience. We look forward to seeing you next season.Welcome to Sundown Mountain - Dubuque, Iowa.SUNDOWN MOUNTAIN is BIG, BEAUTIFUL and EXCITING. Countless skiers and riders return year after year to enjoy our slopes. Over six years we were the only Midwest resort granted the NSAA Award of Excellence. Our highest lift has greater top to bottom vertical than all resorts in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota south of Duluth and all but two in Wisconsin. Two mountain top lodges overlook 100 square miles, 21 scenic trails and two remarkable terrain parks carved out of a century old cedar forest reminiscent of Colorado. Kids Park - Plowing More Than Just Snow!Take a look at the changes going on in the Kids Park for this season! The park has been re-graded to better accommodate young skiers and riders. We have lengthened the slope and added an additional 60' to the ski carpet meaning the children will have more room to learn. New Burton Snowboards, boot and bindings are being delivered too! We are looking forward to another fun year!
